About Mosquito Creek Veterinary Hospital

We are an independent general practice veterinary hospital that strives to serve its clients in a holistic manner with care, curiosity and the least intervention possible. To accomplish this, we have some excellent tools including: a Surgical CO2 Laser, two cold therapeutic Lasers (class 3b), dental radiology, digital full body radiology, and Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS). We try to cover the basics in house while also partnering with a fantastic radiologist that comes in once a month and as needed to do ultrasounds. Need a specialist referral? We have a list of specialists in the lower Mainland we work with.

Our Philosophy

In a world that is becoming increasingly more complex and corporate, we strive to stay up-to-date and on track with the basics of listening, physical examination, diagnostics and therapies that offer the best potential outcomes for the pets in our care, without causing harm. To that end, our staff have additional training in: acupuncture, TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), nutrition, chiropractic, homeopathy and energetic medicine to provide the best veterinary care.

Rescue Connections

Pacific Animal Foundation

The amazing work of PAF as a feral cat Trap Neuter and Return (TNR) advocacy group has helped hundreds of homeless cats find care over the past three decades and we proudly support their work. The advocacy that has been done in our community in that time with TNR of feral cats has diminished the homeless cat situation significantly.  If you have room for another cat in your family or are looking to volunteer, please click the link below to reach out to them:
